"Mai Tam House of Hope" Project
The Mai Tam House of Hope project stands as a testament to our significant contributions and unwavering compassion. This remarkable center serves as a home for children, widows, and mothers living with HIV/AIDS, providing essential shelter, medical care, education, and support for both residents and walk-ins seeking assistance.
The children at Mai Tam are directly impacted by HIV/AIDS—some are HIV positive, while others are the children or orphans of those affected. Since its inception in 2005, when the founders aimed to assist 100 women and children, Mai Tam has evolved into the first and only facility of its kind in Ho Chi Minh City, now supporting over 360 individuals in need. In fact, past support has successfully reached over 560 clients annually.
Annual Gala Fundraising
The main source of funding that we receive to support our initiatives and programs is through the generous giving at our Annual Fundraising Gala Event. Each year, we invite members of the community to join us for a delightful evening filled with a delicious dinner accompanied by lively music. The tickets sold for the event, along with the auction goods that are bid on during the evening, play a crucial role in helping us raise the necessary funds. We are fortunate to have the support of numerous dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and effort to help prepare for the event and ensure its success. All of the fundraising efforts combined help to finance all the various projects and initiatives we undertake every year, making a significant impact in our community.
